Wedding Apps to help you with planning of your wedding
If you do some or most of your wedding planning on the phone then this post is for you. I want to share below all of the wedding apps that I have used and found helpful during wedding planning.
Some of these apps you probably already have and will continue to use even after the wedding. However, some of the apps you might not have and I hope you find this post informative. All of the apps listed below I have personally used and most of them are still on my phone. In addition, they are all free.
Here are all the wedding apps:
Countdown app: Wedding Countdown – Sevenlogics, Inc. shows you how many days/hours are till your wedding. I loved seeing the countdown.
Planner app: WeddingHappy – Wedding Planner – WeddingHappy Inc. shows you all the tasks you need to complete during the wedding planning process. I loved seeing all of the tasks and checking them off.
PANTONE Studio – Pantone helps with colors. It was a great way to research some colors for the wedding.
Pinterest – Pinterest || Instagram – Instagram, Inc. can provide you with wedding inspiration, tips, ideas, and helpful information if you search wedding hashtags/keywords. I love both of these apps because of all the inspirational photos and ideas and still use them daily.
Yelp: Discover Local Favorites – Yelp to research vendor reviews. Still use it a lot to this day.
Amazon App (they have registry on the app too)|| Aliexpress App || Etsy App || Nordstrom App so you can search and purchase wedding related items whether big or small. I have used these apps for wedding shopping; however, I still use them today even after the wedding.
Weather – Apple || The Weather Channel: Forecast – The Weather Channel Interactive so you can keep track of the weather for your wedding day. It’s good to check the forecast so you have some idea of what to expect the day of the wedding. Still use it a lot as most of you do too.
Apple Music – Apple || iTunes Store – Apple || YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream – Google, Inc. so you can find the songs you like for your wedding. I liked to research songs on YouTube because of the lyrics and videos.
Watch – Apple || Activity – Apple || Fitbit – Fitbit, Inc. || MyFitnessPal – MyFitnessPal.com so if you have Apple Watch or Fitbit, these apps are helpful for tracking your fitness activity. You can connect your Apple Watch or Fitbit to MyFitnessPal to have the activity sync. In addition, MyFitnessPal is useful for calories tracking and I love the app to this day to see my calories intake. I continue to use Apple Watch with the activity app so I can track my exercise and calories burned as well as stand hours.
Hopper – Watch & Book Flights – Hopper || KAYAK Flights, Hotels & Cars – KAYAK so you can find the best deal on flights in case you need to book flights for you or your family. I’ve used Kayak the most to research the flights and ticket prices. In addition, you can also use Google to search for flights and ticket prices, which I’ve tried before too.
My Love – Relationship Counter – Bjoern Bartels || Lovedays – D-Day for Couples – Wonderabbit, Inc. so you can keep track of your anniversary date 🙂 I love both of these apps and still use them to this day.
Notes – Apple to take notes of anything wedding related and beyond – still use it a lot.
Below are other helpful apps but I have not personally used them during wedding planning:
Mint:Personal Finance & Money – Mint.com – for budget.
Thumbtack: Hire local services – Thumbtack, Inc. – to hire professionals.
Other apps to consider – some of these I have used but not during wedding planning:
Bed Bath & Beyond – Bed Bath and Beyond || David’s Bridal Wedding Dresses – David’s Bridal Inc. || Target – Target || Macy’s – Macys Inc || Michaels Stores – Michaels Stores, Inc. || Hobby Lobby – Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. || Walmart – Shopping and Saving – Walmart || Shutterfly: Prints & Gifts – Shutterfly || Zazzle
My hope is that you find this list of wedding apps helpful. If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments section below. In addition, you can add any other helpful wedding apps I might have missed in the comments.
