It’s All A Dream: Bringing Your Ideal Day To Life

This is a collaborative post about it’s all a dream: bringing your ideal day to life.

When you first get engaged, your head is spinning. You’re so giddy with excitement you could burst. But it’s nice to stay in that bubble for a while. That, ‘I’m so in love’ frame of mind. That kind of honeymoon period. Because when you dare to step out of it, you’re going to be faced with a whole lot of decisions. And this can be a little overwhelming. So much so, that you can forget all about the kind of wedding you know you want deep down, and get swept up in what’s trending. Or, you just can’t get your vision out into the real world. So if you know that you have a dream wedding in mind, but you have no idea how to bring it to life, here’s what to do.

Finding A Wedding Planner

First of all, you might want to find yourself a wedding planner. Because when you have an image in your mind, it’s often overwhelming for you to work on it all alone. But a professional knows the contacts and the processes to get it all right.

Using Visuals

Next, you’re going to want to get as many visuals as you can. This is the best way to not only explain what you want to others, but to be clear of it yourself. Because it’s one thing to have an image in your mind, but it can look entirely different in real life. So get an inspiration board together to help you stay on track.

Doing Your Research

Then, you need to find everything that you want. And this always starts with research. From photographers in the right region, such as Andrea Matone, to a hair stylist that gets your style. Look around. Get online. Ask for contacts. Make sure that you’re happy to source the right people for each of the roles. It’s better to take your time and get it right than rush and feel as if everything is all wrong.

Asking Questions

It’s also a good idea to ask questions. So if you want to make sure that you’re understanding what you’re getting or that you’re on the right track – just ask. And even if you want something that you worry might not be able to be done. If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

Being Clear

But next, you need to also make sure that you are being very clear with what you want or what you expect. And get confirmation from the professionals or people in question here. Don’t just assume that they get what you mean – because it could be disastrous for your wedding day. So make sure that you’re clear and you’re understood. That way, you’re minimizing the chance of things going wrong.

Making The Best Decision For You

And finally, you have to absolutely be sure that this is the best possible decision for yourself. Not anybody else, but you. Because this is your day. Your dream. Don’t let anybody influence you and those decisions to then ruin your day. Stay strong and make the best decisions for your day. It will be worth it when you do.
