Free Baby Stuff – Where, How, What
When my husband and I found out that I was pregnant with our first child in June 2018, I decided to find and get free baby stuff. Now as a new first time mom to our sweet baby boy since January 2019, I would like to share where, how, and what free baby stuff I was able to get.
Below you will see pictures of all the free baby stuff I got from the following places (in no particular order):
- Carseat Canopy
- Udder Covers
- Nursing Pillow
- Seventh Generation
- The Honest Company
- The Baby Box Co.
- buybuy Baby
- Amazon Baby Registry Free Welcome Box – my #1 favorite!
- Noobie Box
Carseat Canopy – https://www.carseatcanopy.com (where)
I used a coupon PENNY1 that I found online to get a free carseat canopy but I did have to pay for shipping (how) – not completely free due to a shipping fee.
Below is what I got in the mail. We actually ended up not using this since we chose to go with a convertible car seat.
Udder Covers – https://www.uddercovers.com (where)
I used a coupon PENNY1 that I found online to get a free udder cover but I did have to pay for shipping (how) – not completely free due to a shipping fee.
Below is what I got in the mail. I use it when I breastfeed in public and I like it.
Nursing Pillow – https://www.nursingpillow.com (where)
I used a coupon PENNY1 that I found online to get a free nursing pillow but I did have to pay for shipping (how) – not completely free due to a shipping fee.
Below is what I got in the mail. I don’t really use this pillow for nursing. I just nurse without any pillows as I find it more comfortable.
Seventh Generation – https://generationgood.socialmedialink.com/members/sign_in#/ (where)
I signed up for generation good and the company sent me these free and clear wipes. (how) – this was completely free.
Here is what I got in the mail – 3 free and clear wipes packets that contained 2 wipes each. I’ve used these wipes when changing our baby in public restrooms and they are good. I ended up purchasing a bigger pack of 256 ct Seventh Generation Free and Clear Baby Wipes later on from Target.
The Honest Company – https://www.honest.com/account/select-bundle (where)
I signed up for a free trial and paid for shipping. Once I received the free items, I canceled the trial I signed up for (how) – not completely free due to a shipping fee.
The Baby Box Co. – https://www.babyboxco.com/how-it-works/ (where)
I signed up for free, took their online class and quiz after class, and received a reward below. I decided not to pick up the reward and instead had it shipped so I paid a very small shipping fee (how) – not completely free due to a shipping fee.
Here is what I got in the mail – a bag with samples as well as a box for infant sleeping. I forgot to take a picture of the box but here are the samples. I did not have my baby sleep in the box and instead I’ve been using the box as a storage.
Once I created a baby registry at Target, I got a free welcome kit filled with coupons and samples after stopping by Guest Services at my local Target store. First time I stopped by, they did not have the kit available but promised to order more so the next time I stopped by, they had it and I was able to get it (how) – completely free. They did not check ID or registry number or anything…
Target baby registry was not our main registry but I did add some stuff to it so I could get those items at a discount online and in store.
Here is what I got:
Once I created a baby registry at buybuy Baby, I got a free goody bag filled with coupons and samples after stopping by a local buybuy Baby store (how) – completely free. They did check my ID…
buybuy Baby was not our main registry at all.
Here is what I got. To this day, I use the baby on board sign and the small feeding bottle they included in the sample bag.
Walmart Baby Welcome Box (where)
I filled out a form by clicking on “baby welcome box” on Walmart and they sent me free baby stuff below (how) – completely free.
Walmart was not our main registry at all.
Here is what I got:
Walmart Baby Box is a subscription to 3 boxes (pregnancy, infant, toddler). Each box is $5 and here is the first one I received – pregnancy. Since then I also received infant one but did not take pictures of it.
Babylist Free Hello Baby Box (where)
Once I created a registry on Babylist by adding 3 items from their website and 3 additional items from another website, they shipped me this wonderful box full of amazing samples. Eligibility info is here (how) – not completely free due to a shipping fee.
Babylist was not our main registry at all.
Here is what I got in the mail. To this day, we use the sponge and the feeding bottle they included.
Amazon Baby Registry Free Welcome Box(where)Amazon Baby Registry was our main registry for everything we needed. Once we created the registry and at least one item was purchased from it, Amazon shipped us this amazing welcome box for free, which is my number one favorite because they included so many wonderful products and most of them we use to this day (how) – completely free.
I love Amazon baby registry and would highly recommend it.
Here is what I got in the mail:
Noobie Box (where)
With Noobie Box, I selected their Free Pregnancy Edition Box and to avoid paying for shipping, I ordered their Noobie Nest box so I got 2 boxes
Below, you will see the nest box first and then the free pregnancy edition box.
