Album Story – Tori-Nate Bauhaus Brew Labs Wedding
Tori and Nate’s wedding day started at their home in Minneapolis, MN. The couple opted to do a first look in their very own backyard which I thought fit them just perfectly! Before heading out for the day the couple’s cat, Star, was able to get a few photos with her paw-rents. So cute!
Before heading to the brewery the couple and wedding party stoped at the iconic Minneapolis landmark, the Stone Arch Bridge for some photos.
Prior to the ceremony the couple had a cocktail hour for guests to mingle. The brewery was decked out in beautiful bright colors!
During their ceremony Tori and Nate wrote their own vows to one another, which is always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day!
Guests enjoyed beer, wine, tacos and cupcakes throughout the night!

Q6: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.
A6: Nate and I met on Tinder! He was my first Tinder date ever.On the day we got engaged, I was planning to go to the orchestra with my friend, Ali. She told me that she had gotten free tickets from a client of hers. We were planning to meet up after work. Since I was just planning to get together with a friend, I didn’t shower that day! She told me the day-of that her sister was in the hospital and so she could no longer go to the show but that since Nate also worked downtown she would drop the tickets off with him. Nate text me and suggested that we use a gift card to Alma (which he had “won” at work weeks earlier…spoiler alert there was never any gift card) before going to the concert. We went out to eat and after dinner, Nate suggested that we go for a walk along the river. It was March, and it was icy, so I was a little grumpy about it. He wanted to go down to hidden falls, which I protested, but we did it anyway. We got down to the bridge underneath the stone arch bridge. He read me a beautiful note and got down on one knee. Of course I said yes! Out of the bushes came my best friend, Ali! I was crying, it was chaotic and so exciting! A random woman on the bridge had been taking pictures of us. Nate grabbed me and told me to look up onto the Stone Arch Bridge. When I looked closely, I saw my dad taking photos with a paparazzi lens (my dad lives in Portland). I started bawling and generally losing it. Then Nate pointed me to the woman on the bridge, who I only then realized was my dad’s girlfriend. I hadn’t met her in person yet and exclaimed (in a very high-pitched voice) “Are you Nancy?!” We all laughed and cried and it was wonderful.
Q8: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
A8: The most helpful thing for us was our wedding coordinator (shout out to Bre!) and my personal attendant. Combined, they helped facilitate everything. The coordinator made sure my family knew where to be when setting up decorations, and made sure everything got out the door at the end of the night. Find people who will support you and take care of everything on your wedding day. It will help you relax and enjoy the day. We were on cloud 9 the entire day because we didn’t have to worry about anything! Also, give your phone to someone else during the day (my attendant had mine). They can photograph and take videos all day long and you’ll have something to look at the next day!
