This October wedding has it all: a loving couple, who have been together for seven years, a bustling city feel, a modern minimalist setting, a touching ceremony, and overjoyed families, friends and an adorable dog!
Witnessing the couple throughout the planning process was truly wonderful. It was inspiring to see the way they worked as a team, the care they showed their loved ones and the kindness they expressed toward every vendor. Experiences like this are what makes you want to go the extra mile!
The getting-ready photoshoot for the bride took place at her apartment, where she was surrounded by her family and her maid of honor. The couple’s dog, Sadie, also played a major role: this charming wedding VIP wore a fancy outfit and starred in many of the photos. The couple even printed the esteemed guest’s portrait on the cocktail napkins, which only added to the whimsy and sweetness.
At the same time, the groom was getting ready at the nearby Royal Sonesta Hotel. The photographer captured many beautiful, intimate moments of the groom’s friends and family, including when his father affectionally helped him to secure his bowtie.
We decided to take a few photos of the groom at his Alma Mater, Harvard University, where he was completing his MBA. The weather was cooperating beautifully.
The interfaith Chuppah ceremony was held outside by an aspiring female rabbinical student Jessica Lowenthal. It was quite emotional and fun at the same time.
The modern restaurant and favorite local spot Glass House provided a perfect environment wherein we displayed floral decor and votives. It was an ideal representation of the energetic city of Cambridge, where the couple lives and works.
Blake Newman and his jazz band provided the music throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour.
The wedding challah was baked by the couple’s planner, Luba Gankin of Primavera Dreams, in a typical Jewish tradition.
Julie Raymond from Bittersweet Gardens designed the bridal bouquet and all of the floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception.
Konditor Meister crafted the lovely 3-tiered cake, making for a delightful and funny cake cutting moment.
Elizabeth Willis’ candid photojournalistic style accurately conveys the feelings of the day, perfectly depicting the sublime atmosphere.
