Branden and Sabrina were officially wed in a Mormon Ceremony the evening before their Traditional Christian ceremony which took place on a beautiful and sprawling private estate in Chapel Hill, NC.
The two were very hands on in everything from the decor to the food. Sabrina described the process as a test of whether or not the two would be able to work together throughout their marriage. In the end they pulled off the ceremony, in which only their closest friends and family celebrated with them, seamlessly. From the garden ceremony to the barn reception, the day was perfect.
Guests were greeted at the reception with mason jars full of sweet tea and celebrated with a barbecue dinner served family style. Family and Friends served on every capacity from DJ, to photobooth, right down to baking the sweet cake and cupcakes that guests enjoyed after dinner.
Q & A:
How did you meet? How long have you dated?
Through a friend at church volleyball. We have dated for 22 months (almost 2 years).
What was your first date like?
A little awkward and a portion of it included Branden’s brother, Jared. But overall, it was a really good first date with dinner and fireworks!
Tell me about the proposal.
The proposal was in Rexburg, Idaho on a beautiful mountain lake. There was a failed scavenger hunt involved, which led to Branden just giving up and getting down on one knee to ask!
Any funny stories about yourselves
The proposal was actually really funny because basically everything went wrong that possibly could, except for losing the ring, but it was still great and it’s fun to tell now!
What kind of job do you both have?
Branden works in IT and Sabrina just graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and works at a children’s museum.
What is your “spark”? What keeps you in love with each other?
We work really well together. We also share similar goals and push each other to achieve those goals.
What is the most anticipated part of your wedding celebrations?
Having family and friends come together to celebrate our marriage and have a great time at the reception!

Happy Friday party people! We made it to the weekend which is all work for me! I’ll be hitching a ride with @lilphotobus later today to head to Asheville for a special wedding then hitting the road to Atlanta to celebrate a sweet first birthday with @therealharperrose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But for now, I want to take you on blast to the past as I share with you 5 of my favorite things about being a teenager in the 90s 1️⃣ Lisa Frank. If you grew up in the 90s you probably STILL love the brightly colored stickers, pens, binders, and jewelry by this femme 90s icon! 2️⃣ Discman. 90s babies remember when you had to go to Blockbuster Music or Sam Goody to get your CDs for your discman. And man those CDs were expensive. 3️⃣ 90s pop music. Back when Beyoncé was in a group and Mariah Carey was the sweet girl next door. The music was amazing. Who remembers Coolio? 4️⃣Movies. If you missed out on seeing the greats like Forest Hump, Mrs Doubtfire, and Men in Black in the theatre I can only say that you’ll REALLY be able to appreciate a movie theater where the seats WEREN’T set up stadium style. 5️⃣ Awesome (and slightly annoying) slang terms. Seriously, this was how we talked. “Psych”, “talk to the hand”, “whats the dillio” and “Not!” Were part of every cool kid’s talk. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you were a teen in the 90s what was your favorite part?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Oh, and let’s hear it for this awesome pic of me by @arikajordanphotography from this week’s #throwback party hosted by @weddedkiss and @thegrayhouse!! . . . . . #imagesbyamberr #raleighweddingphotographer #raleigh #wedding #photographer #raleighwedding #raleighphotographer #weddingphotographer #ncwedding #ncweddingphotographer #destinationweddingphotographer #blackfemalephotographer #wokeweddingpro #letsgetmarried #weregettingmarried #isaidyes #confidentphotographers #curvyweddingphotographer #fridayintroductions #the90s #the90skids #retro #afewofmyfavoritethings #friyay #lisafrank #tgif #the90sraisedme
