Meg & Bryan met their freshman year in biology class and have been best friends ever since they met! July 2015, 8 years later on their anniversary, they went to dinner then a walk by the river (Quad City area) and then it happened, Bryan dropped to one knee …The entire time Meg’s brother had been hiding behind a building waiting for this moment to pop out and snap a photo of the proposal. Meg says that this is her favorite photo in the world as it shows the biggest smile on Bryan’s face.
Fast forward to Oct 2018 and their coastal southern Kate Spade inspired wedding on St. Simons Island, GA, and these two best friends became Mr. & Mrs. There were so many happy tears during the day from family and friends that gathered to celebrate these two amazing souls…..ohhh and one of Meg’s fave new photos is one of Bryan seeing her coming down the aisle (they opted NOT to have a first look) and his tears and face were so worth waiting for!! The true admiration and respect they have for each other and how much they believe in kindness, inclusion and doing good for others was evident by the tributes and stories shared throughout the day!
Meg says one can never have too much Kate Spade, and knew it would play a role in her wedding and its decor. Opting for bright happy colors that totally embraced her and Bryan’s LOVE COLOR FULLY spirit. Planning a wedding here in the coastal south during hurricane season is always a big risk and thankfully Hurricane Issac spared the area and it was an extra beautiful day with big blue skies peeking over the ocean as Meg and Bryan said I DO and with happy tears flowing from guests, as they shared their vows complete with laugh out loud moments and sharing it all with an equally amazing family and one of the closest knit wedding parties that defined the meaning of true life long friendships, it was indeed a day of LOVE COLOR FULLY!!
