Christina and Tom, which you see from the first shot to the last, some of the most gorgeous people we have had the chance to capture! With such pretty faces and a chemistry to match, we could have subsisted on that for the day, but instead we were treated to so many amazing elements. A newly-opened venue provided a historical but of-the-times industrial reception backdrop. Christina’s STUNNING wedding gown combined simple elegance with glamorous back beading for a fashion forward touch. Tom was modernly dapper in his black suit and bowtie. They incorporated a few Filipino traditions during the Catholic ceremony, including covering the couple with a veil and a cord in the shape of an infinity sign to symbolize two becoming one.
The party itself rounded up some of the most stylish details we saw all year! Marble printed vases, geometric metallic votive holders, agate crystal table number frames, delicate sheer fabric in soft cool hues dotting accent tables. Their eye-catching 3-tier cake was trend setting with its minimal marbling on the top layers, and a clean geometric pattern adorning the bottom hexagonal tier. The bride’s half Filipina background was evident again with a money dance. Both Christina and Tom were adorned with dollar bills pinned to them, a physical symbol of guests blessings.
We wish all the best to this Chicago-dwelling couple who chose Dayton, Ohio’s urban setting for their big day. Congrats, you two!
