Anya-Ryan Wedding at the Pump House in Bloomsburg, PA

Bernadette Marciniak is an amazing photographer that took Anya-Ryan Wedding photos. So their photos turned out really beautiful as you will see below. When I saw these photos, I immediately thought this couple was in love, which showed through the photos. In addition, I thought their wedding was really beautiful and purple color made it stand out to me. I loved how there is a story behind a penny in bride’s shoe and how the couple was really considerate to their guests as you will see and read below. Moreover, wait till you see the custom heels for the bride, the custom engagement ring from a jeweler and also a wedding ring that groom made. Anya and Ryan’s wedding was simply perfect.

You can find vendor list below all the photos.

All about the wedding & venue – Notes from the photographer:

“Woods and nature all around, a rustic building with some history made for an excellent backdrop, and a great couple made a perfect combination for the type of weddings I dream of shooting everyday.”
“The Pump House was formerly the housing site of coal and oil-smeared workers. I find it both amusing and awesome that what was once such a dirty place now hosts brides in spotless wedding gowns. The owners did a great job cleaning it up and it really is just a true hidden gem.”

How Anya and Ryan met – Notes from the photographer:

“Anya and Ryan met on a date at a diner, which she reluctantly went on. I remember her telling us that this date was one of those “last hurrah” sort of situations before she was going off somewhere and didn’t expect it to get past that initial rendezvous. Alas, low and behold, something clicked and they ended up together.”

Photographer’s favorite memories from Anya-Ryan wedding:

“One of my favorite things from this wedding is the first look. They were both on the property getting ready, just a few cottages away from each other. We were constantly looking out the window to make sure he wouldn’t be able to see her. You know you’re in the true presence of love when a first look is what makes all the stresses of wedding day go away. I think they had just seen each other the previous night during final preparations at the venue, but yet still couldn’t wait to be together on the day of their wedding to ease any chaos and to just have each other. The tears during it speak to that idea. Still melts my heart when I think about it.”
“I also love the little casual touches of consideration Anya and Ryan had for their guests. Golf carts awaited the elderly so that they could be driven over to the ceremony a little ways down a dirt path. Margarita ice pops were available at the receiving line to cool off on an otherwise sweltering day. One guest was celebrating her 30th birthday that day and there was a special cake for her.”
“Vice versa, I loved how involved their friends were with the big day to make it extra special for the couple. A friend built a campfire at the end of the night for the lingerers to enjoy and sing around.”
“Ryan made the wedding bands. Drinks were served in cute mason jars that doubled as souvenirs. Guests camped out after the party. It was just an all-around fun time.”

Flats were from Payless – also, here is the bride’s story behind the penny in the flats “I believe that my grandparents leave me “pennies from heaven.” My aunt found that one the morning of my wedding and the date on it happened to be the year I was born :)”

Photographer’s bio from her website:

So Bernadette Marciniak is an award-winning photojournalist shooting on the east and west coasts.

“I will laugh with you. I will cry with you. I will dance with your guests and teach them how to do “The Wobble” and “Cupid’s Shuffle.” I will hug you and tell you look you beautiful, which would be an understatement on your wedding day; you’ll look freakin’ gorgeous. I’ll do all this with a doofy smile on my face and camera in my hand.”

I’m absolutely and supremely honored by each shoot I take on. Be it a wedding, engagement or family shoot, it doesn’t escape me that my clients are including me in the most important and intimate times of their lives.”
