Palm Springs and these two cuties hold my heart I tell you… From roaming around the ACE hotel dancing on tables and jumping on couches, to trekking out to the middle of the desert in Windmill Farmland, to finishing off the day with an amazing dinner and drinks at the trendy TRIO restaurant in downtown… only one word to describe it… RAD! Their smiles and laughter throughout the day were seriously infectious! Love them and cannot WAIT to do it all again in December at their wedding!
Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?
Through a friend when we were 14 years old.
Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?
It happened at (on our 6th year anniversary and his birthday) Santa Monica Pier and we went on the ferris wheel, he told me to look down at the end of the pier and I saw all of our close friends holding the sign “Will you Marry me” with flowers. It was the last place where I took my dad before he passed away.

— ***FEATURED TODAY***— ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Check out Jeff and SuHyun’s FABULOUS engagement session that was just featured today on WEDDING CHICKS❤️ One Word completely sums these two up…. RAD!! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ And for any of my current or potential couples let me tell you a little story about these cuties… When I first met them for coffee for our initial consultation we literally talked for two hours – and during that time they both let me know that they were totally awkward in front of the camera and a bit nervous about having their photos taken while people watch at their engagement session… this was actually one of the reasons that we chose Palm Springs – so that we could have plenty of room to roam around the city and make sure they were feeling comfy without 10 million people staring at them lol! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Well as you can see my friends – if you check out their feature today… You will notice that they absolutely KILLED IT!! Not one single awkward moment EVER!! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Why? In a nutshell I would have to say it’s because they trusted the process!! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I let them know upfront that this wasn’t just about me being their wedding photographer – this was about us becoming friends, getting to know each other better, and hanging out! So in essence their engagement session was basically a super fun date with me third wheeling along catching every fab moment! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ If I were to give any engaged couple out there some advice it would be this… ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ – Get to know your Photographer! ⠀⠀ -Friend each other on Facebook and Insta. ⠀⠀ -Meet in person⠀⠀ – Make sure you vibe with them! – Ask yourself “Is this someone I would hang out with AFTER the wedding? ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The reality is this : If you genuinely like them, have things in common with them, and LOVE what they have to say and what you see of them on Social Media – then guess what – they will KILL IT for you and you will LOVE your images!! Period 🙌🏻 ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ And don’t get me wrong… I’m not saying that you guys have to literally be exactly the same person in order to vibe with them… BUT… you do need to know them… and like them! Trust me – your wedding day is about the EXPERIENCE they gave you and how they made you FEEL…. not the final images 😘
