From Jasmine White Photography:
On the day of their engagement session, I immediately fell in love with both of them. They are both so much fun, light-hearted, and Tanner is constantly cracking jokes that keep me laughing. I even brag on them to everyone because Tanner is the first guy I ever felt comfortable enough asking to ‘frolic‘ in the field on the farm … and he did it more than once! And some of the pictures from their ‘frolicking’ are some of my favorite from their session.

I'm that person that kind of thinks 'New Year's Resolutions' are a little cheesy. . Maybe it's just the term and how it has been stereotyped over the years as empty promises with good intentions. . However, every single year, around this time – I find myself setting 'goals' (aka New Year's Resolutions, lol) for the upcoming year. . This year is no different, other than I am going in with the mindset "go big or go home". . 2018 we had a lot of hardships trying to expand our family and it not working out, so for 2019 one of my main goals is accepting our family of three and being grateful for the positives that comes with being a mommy to an only child and some of the freedom that it brings us as he is getting older. I really let the desire to have another child rule my thoughts and actions this year and I want to learn to be okay with letting that idea go if it's not what is meant for our family. . Another goal … is pretty typical, but I really want Jason and I to live a healthier lifestyle this year. Between a miscarriage, getting my gallbladder removed, stress from multiple adoption letdowns, and so much other stuff …. we really put self care off the map this year and we were both miserable as a result. This year I want to focus on taking better care of myself and not feeling guilty about the time it takes away from other obligations. . A third goal I have is to stay motivated and consistently work to find things to keep me motivated. I am one of those creatives who gets easily sidetracked and this year I want to find ways to really stay motivated and on fire about the things that I know need to get done – whether it be with business, self care, travel, etc. . These are just a few of my goals for 2019 – I have a lot more actually that I may share too, but I would love to hear some of your goals for the new year!
