Jeremy and Alyese are a special couple. They met in a teaching certification class and discovered that they both have a heart for serving. They both work long hours as teachers but love making a difference for the kids they teach and coach.
Without faking an injury, the proposal would not have happened the night it did. They had just finished a teaching seminar and a dinner out when he asked her up to his apartment. Since they both had to wake early, she declined. He pretended he had to run to the bathroom and asked her to wait for him. Calling her from his apartment, he pretended he had twisted his knee and needed her help. Alyese arrived upstairs to find candles and Jeremy on one knee asking her to spend her life with him.

Woohoo, it is Friday! I hope you all have some fun plans for the weekend or maybe just some downtime to relax a little. So it is time for #fridayintroductions to get to know a little something about me, the girl behind the camera. 1. I don’t like coffee, at all. While growing up, my best friend and I always said that maybe we wouldn’t grow up if we didn’t start drinking coffee. So I guess you could say I’m still a kid at heart! 2. I love to travel and have been to Mexico, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Turks & Caicos, Hungary, Belize,Luxembourg and Denmark. I am writing a bucket list of places I want to go to still and they include Napa Valley, Yellowstone, Africa, and Australia. 3. I pass out. The first time was kind of a funny story because I was a modest 16 year old who wore a bathing suit in the gym hot tub while the older ladies laughed at me. The next thing I knew, two EMT men were carrying me out and I was thankful for my modesty. It took many, many years, tests, face plants resulting in ER visits to figure out that the cause is blood pooling in my legs, sometimes upon standing from sitting or squatting. I have been able to decrease the episodes by being careful. Just one of my many funny Debbie-isms. 4. I love having words around to inspire me and have them throughout the house, even writing them with a dry erase marker on our bathroom mirror. 5. I took a flying lesson once and absolutely LOVED the feeling when I had the controls, even though I didn’t know what I was doing. It was pure euphoria. The funny thing was when I walked up to meet my instructor, he looked like the Doogie Howser version of pilot instructors. Seriously looked about 12😳. Was absolutely amazing though! What about you? Tell me something I don’t know about you!
